To qualify for our program, applicants must meet the following criteria. We maintain high standards to ensure the safety and success of our students.
You must be at least 21 years old to apply for the instructor training program.
Must hold a valid driver's license for at least 5 consecutive years.
Must have a clean driving record with no major infractions or recent accidents.
All applicants must pass a comprehensive state and federal background check.
Must be willing and able to complete the state-mandated 100 hours of training, which include both classroom instruction methodology and behind-the-wheel teaching techniques.
As a driving instructor at The Way Driving School, you'll play a crucial role in our community. Here's what your day-to-day will look like.
Conduct one-on-one driving lessons with teens and adults, focusing on safety, defensive driving, and confidence-building.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and help them prepare for their state driving exams.
